We have finally flown our 15 000km to NASA! During maths we have been doing our maths mentals at the start of every lesson. Each question the students answer correct is one km closer to our goal. Once we reach our goal we have a party and this time we are having a space party. A note will go home in the next few weeks with details about the party.
The next few weeks we will be working on our information reports about Australia’s natural and man made features. In maths we will be doing patterns and algebra and Area.
On Fridays we are doing a robotics unit on bees. The students have been very excited and have done some amazing work.
Just a reminder to parents that students do need to have their own pencil cases with lead pencils, colouring pencils, scissors, glue, rubber and a ruler. It is a good idea to get your child’s pencil case and check they still have enough supplies.
