Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.

Music in the Valley

Music in the Valley is Main Arm Public School’s much-loved annual community celebration, bringing together families, students, staff and the wider valley in a joyful day of music, creativity and connection.

Held on the school grounds, this vibrant event showcases the heart of our school — a strong, inclusive community that works together to create something truly special. Local musicians and performers share the stage alongside our students, providing a unique opportunity for children to confidently showcase their talents, creativity and love of performance in a supportive, real-world setting.

More than just a music event, Music in the Valley reflects our school values of collaboration, belonging and community spirit. Parents, staff and volunteers work side by side to create a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere filled with great food, fun activities and shared experiences.

As the school’s major fundraising event, Music in the Valley also plays an important role in supporting student opportunities and long-term school projects, ensuring ongoing enrichment for future learners.

Above all, it is a celebration of who we are — a connected, creative and caring community, proud of our children and the place we call home.
